Domestic building fire in Darwen
At 3:46am on 18 May 2026, two fire engines from Darwen attended a domestic building fire on Tythebarn Street, Darwen. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. One casualty suffering from smoke inhalation was taken to hospital by the North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for two hours.
