Domestic building fire in Lancaster

At 13:39 on 26 August, six fire engines and the aerial ladder platform were called to a domestic building fire in Shakespeare Road, Lancaster. Firefighters used six breathing apparatus, one 45mm jet, one hose reel and the aerial ladder platform to tackle the fire. Several roads in the local area have been temporarily closed. Crews remain in attendance.

Update 27/08 07:34: Crews are still in attendance with one fire engine, the aerial ladder platform and the drone monitoring hot spots.
