On 24 April 2026 at 15:09, three fire engines from Morecambe, Bolton‑le‑Sands and Lancaster were mobilised to Yorkshire Street West, Morecambe, to reports of a domestic building fire. Crews used two breathing apparatus, two hose reels and one positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire and were on scene for over ninety minutes.
