At 12:41 on 19th April 2025, two fire engines from Nelson and Colne fire stations attended a domestic building fire on Swinden Hall Road, Nelson. Firefighters used one hose reel, a gas monitor, and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for forty minutes.
