At 20:04 on 27th October 2025, five fire engines, an aerial ladder platform with a supporting fire engine, and the aerial support unit attended domestic property fire on Guildhall Street in Preston. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reels, one main jet, and four ventilation fans to extinguish the fire.
Two casualties were treated for smoke inhalation by North West Ambulance Service, and one was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Crews remained on scene for approximately four hours and forty minutes.
