Domestic building fire in Preston

At 18:27 on January 24th, 2026, four fire engines from Preston, Penwortham, and Bamber Bridge attended a domestic building fire on Victoria Street, Preston. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel, one dry powder extinguisher, one gas monitor, and one ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews remained at the scene for over three hours.
