At approximately 21:54 hours on 3rd May 2026, three fire engines from Nelson and Colne attended an incident on Dalton Street in Nelson. The incident involved a fire to a domestic property. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel, and one thermal image camera to extinguish the fire. Crews were detained on scene for approximately three hours and twenty minutes.
