At 19:04 on 26th August 2026, three fire engines from Blackburn and Darwen attended a domestic premises on Parklands, Blackburn. Firefighters extinguished a fire involving the kitchen of a first-floor flat using one hose reel, two breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation fan. Fire crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and twenty minutes.
