Domestic premises fire in Salmesbury

At 18:48 on 8 August 2026, two fire engines from Preston and Blackburn attended a domestic premises on Goosefoot Lane, Samlesbury. Firefighters extinguished a fire involving an electric bike battery and an outbuilding using one hose reel, two breathing apparatus, one positive pressure ventilation fan, a short extension ladder and small tools. Fire crews were on scene for approximately one hour and 20 minutes.
