At 16:59 on the 9th July 2026, two fire engines from Chorley and Horwich (from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service) attended a domestic property fire on Farm Avenue, Adlington. Firefighters extinguished a fire using one hose reel. Crews were on scene for approximately 40 minutes.
