At 17:53 on the 18th June 2026, three fire engines from Bamber Bridge, Penwortham and Preston attended a domestic property fire on Woodfield, Bamber Bridge. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel, a gas monitor and a 10.5m ladder to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately two hours and 50 minutes.
