At 20:30 hours on Monday 18th August, two fire engines from Blackburn and Darwen attended Spinning Avenue, Blackburn. The fire involved external fence panels which spread to the property. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, one positive pressure ventilation fan, small tools and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. Crews were detained for two hours and forty-five minutes.
