At 16:27 on 26th August 2026, two fire engines from Hyndburn and Blackburn attended a domestic premises on Martindale Close, Blackburn. Firefighters extinguished a fire involving the living room of a property using one hose reel, two breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation fan. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and thirty minutes.
