On 12th September 2026 at 18:10 hours, two fire engines from Blackburn attended an incident on The Crescent, Blackburn. Crews extinguished a fire in the kitchen of a domestic property using one hose reel and two breathing apparatus. Two casualties suffering from smoke inhalation were treated by North West Ambulance Service and conveyed to hospital. Crews were in attendance for one hour.
