At 19:17 on 1 May 2025, two fire engines from Blackburn attended a fire involving a domestic property on Whalley New Road in Blackburn. On scene fire crews utilised one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews also used a hearth kit and positive pressure ventilation unit while in attendance. Crews were on scene for approximately one hour.
