Domestic property fire in Blackpool

At 04:32 hours on 8th June 2026, two fire engines from Bispham and Fleetwood attended a fire at Maitland Avenue, Blackpool. The fire involved a pan on a hob within a domestic property. Firefighters used one positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. One casualty was administered first aid by firefighters for smoke inhalation and was then placed into the care of North West Ambulance Service. Crews were on scene for approximately forty five minutes.
