At 20:35 on the 19th June 2026, three fire engines from Blackpool, Bispham and Fleetwood attended a domestic property fire on Melbourne Avenue, Blackpool. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reels and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. Crews rescued two casualties who were handed into the care of North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and 45 minutes.
