At 20:38 on the 11th July 2026, four fire engines and an aerial ladder platform from Blackpool, Bispham, South Shore and Bamber Bridge attended a fire involving a domestic property on Daventry Road, Blackpool. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reel jets and one ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. One casualty was treated by ambulance paramedics for smoke inhalation. Crews were in attendance for several hours.
