Domestic property fire in Clayton le Woods

At 14:08 on 4 October 2024, three fire engines from Bamber Bridge, Penwortham, and Preston attended an incident on Higher Meadow, Clayton le Woods. The incident involved the rear floor of a domestic property. Firefighters used three hose reels, four breathing apparatus, and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately four hours.
