At 14:28 on 8th April 2026, four fire engines from Blackburn, Haslingden, Burnley and Nelson attended a domestic building fire on Clayton Street, Colne. Crews used four breathing apparatus, one ventilation fan and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for four hours and twenty minutes.
