At 17:25 hours on Saturday, 8th June 2024, five fire engines from Lancashire Fire and Rescue and the aerial ladder platform and support appliance from Blackpool attended a fire on London Street, Fleetwood. The fire involved a house of multiple occupancy consisting of three floors. Crews used four breathing apparatuses, two hose reels, and one positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews were detained for approximately three hours.
