At 01:15 hours on 10th January 2026, two fire engines from Lancaster and Morecambe attended a fire at Main Street, Lancaster. The fire involved the first floor of a domestic flat. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews were detained for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.
