At 14:28 on 14 September 2026, two fire engines from Lytham and South Shore, with the aerial ladder platform and support from Blackpool, attended Blackpool Road North, Lytham St Annes. The fire involved an extractor fan motor in the loft space of a domestic property. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for just over one hour.
