At 07:41 on the 9th September 2026, three fire engines from Nelson and Burnley attended a domestic property fire on Hendon Road, Nelson. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel and a ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately 90 minutes.
