At 23:43 on the 13th September 2026, four fire engines from Nelson, Colne and Burnley attended a domestic property fire on Southfield Street, Nelson. Crews wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately 40 minutes.
