Domestic property fire in Padiham

At 06:53 hours on Wednesday, 4th February 2026, four fire engines from Hyndburn, Burnley, Padiham, and Nelson, along with the hazardous materials unit and supporting appliances, attended an incident off Slade Lane, Padiham. The fire involved a domestic garage that was not attached to a property. Firefighters wearing ten breathing apparatus used two 24 millimetre jets, one ground monitor, and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
