At 23:49 hours on 20th August 2025, three fire engines from Preston and Penwortham were called to trees on fire affecting a domestic property on Fir Tree Avenue, Ribbleton, Preston. One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire. Crews were detained twenty minutes.
