At 17:45 on 26th September 2025, three fire engines from Preston, Fulwood, and Penwortham responded to a fire at a domestic property on Garsdale Road, Preston. The incident involved the ground floor of the premises. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, and a positive pressure ventilation unit to bring the fire under control. One casualty was transferred to the care of the North West Ambulance Service. Crews remained in attendance for approximately one hour.
