At 18:22 on 27th October 2025, two fire engines from Preston and Bamber Bridge Fire Stations attended a domestic property fire on Great Townley Street, Preston. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel jet, a dry powder extinguisher and a gas monitor to extinguish the fire. Crews remained on site for approximately two and a half hours.
