At 08:24 hours on 6th January 2026, fire engines from Preston and Penwortham attended a fire on Kent Street, Preston. Fire crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.
