At 07:33 on Monday 19th January 2026, three fire engines from Preston and Fulwood attended a domestic property fire on Watling Street Road in Preston. Crews wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Two casualties at the scene were handed into the care of North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for one hour and twenty minutes.
