At 03:26 on 6th February 2026, two fire engines from Preston Fire Station attended a fire involving a domestic property on Watling Street Road in Preston. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one gas monitor, one thermal imaging camera and one hose reel to extinguish the fire. A ventilation unit was also used on scene by crews. Fire service were in attendance for approximately one hour and ten minutes.
