At 16:33 on February 21, 2026, two fire engines from Penwortham responded to a fire at a domestic property on Bridge Road, Preston. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews remained at the scene for one hour and twenty minutes.
