At 20:03 on the 11th July 2026, two fire engines from Fulwood and Penwortham attended a domestic building fire on Blackpool Road, Preston. Crews wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. One dog was rescued by fire service personnel. Crews were in attendance for approximately two hours.
