At 16:24 on 7 June 2025, two fire engines from Rawtenstall and Burnley attended a building fire on Burnley Road, Rossendale. The fire involved a domestic bungalow property and crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one main jet. Firefighters were in attendance for two hours and 30 minutes.
