Domestic property fire in Scarisbrick

At 17:48 hours on 16th July 2026, three appliances from Ormskirk, Skelmersdale, Tarleton and one appliance from Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service attended a fire at Smithy Lane, Scarisbrick. The fire involved the first floor of a domestic property. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and small tools to extinguish the fire. Crews were on scene for approximately four hours.
