At 13:49 hours on the 18th of April 2026, two fire engines from Bispham and Fleetwood attended an incident on Hawthorne Road, Thornton Cleveleys. The incident was a fire involving an extension attached to a domestic property. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance approximately one hour.
