Domestic property fire in Whittle-le-Woods

At 23:46 hours on 28th November 2024, two fire engines from Chorley and Bamber Bridge attended a kitchen fire at a property on Derek Road, Whittle-le-Woods. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. Smoke alarms were fitted in the property. Crews were in attendance for approximately three hours.
