At 17:13 on 30 April 2025, two fire engines from Ormskirk and one fire engine from Tarleton attended a factory fire on Red Cat Lane, Burscough. Crews used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera, small tools and a gas monitor to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately three hours and thirty minutes.
