At 19:19 hours on 3rd May 2026 two fire engines from Fleetwood and Bispham attended an incident on Cleveleys Avenue, Thornton Cleveleys. The fire involved a wooden fence and quantity of rubbish which spread to a domestic property. Firefighters used a hose reel jet, two breathing apparatus, thermal imaging camera and gas monitor to extinguish the fire. Crews were detained at scene for one hour and twenty‑five minutes.
