Fire at commercial premises in Freckleton

At 14:40 hours on 26th May 2025, three fire engines from Preston and Penwortham attended a fire involving a centrifuge at a commercial premises measuring approximately 60 metres by 30 metres, on Preston New Road, Freckleton, Preston. The fire was extinguished by one site personnel using a hose reel and the fire service used thermal imaging camera to check for lowering of high temperatures. Crew were in attendance for approximately one hour and twenty five minutes.
