Fire in the open in Preston
At 17:48 on April 15th, 2025, three fire engines from Bamber Bridge, Penwortham, and Leyland attended a fire in the open on Pope Lane in Whitestake, Preston. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reel jets and a ground monitor to extinguish the fire. Crews remained at the scene for approximately one hour.
