At 08:49 on 20 August 2026, three fire engines from Lancaster, Silverdale and Fulwood attended flooding affecting multiple properties on Willow Lane, Lancaster. Fire crews used wading poles and swift water rescue gear to isolate gas and electricity supplies to affected properties. Crews were in attendance for seven hours and fifteen minutes.
