At 09:15 on 20 August 2026, one fire engine from Preesall attended flooding affecting numerous properties on Princess Avenue, Lancaster. Fire crews isolated electricity supplies to affected properties and checked on residents' welfare. Crews were on scene for approximately one hour and twenty minutes.
