Garden fire in Bamber Bridge

At 15:21 on 8 August 2025, two fire engines from Preston and Blackburn attended a domestic premises on Long Acre, Bamber Bridge. Firefighter sees extinguished garden fencing, trees and garden furniture at the rear of two properties using one hose reel, one breathing apparatus, thermal imaging camera and a reciprocating saw. Firefighters were on scene for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.
