Gas Leak in Burnley

At 16:39 on the 7th July 2026, two fire engines from Burnley and Nelson attended an incident on Lindsay Street, Burnley. The incident involved a smell of gas at a domestic property. Firefighters used gas monitors to check the property and make it safe. One casualty was assisted from the property by fire service personnel and was handed into the care North West Ambulance Service. Crews were on scene for just under one hour.
