At 15.00 on the 23rd April, 2025, four fire engines along with the drone responded to a grass fire in Heapey, Chorley. The fire involved grass and ferns approximately two hundred metres squared, extinguished by firefighters using Aqualeader backpacks and beaters. Fire crews were on the scene for two hours.
