At 4.47pm, two fire engines from Nelson attended a fire involving the garage of a domestic property on Kibble Grove, Brierfield. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. Crews remained at the scene for two hours and 50 minutes.
