At 22:26 hours on 26th January 2026, three fire engines from Morecambe and Lancaster attended an incident on Yewdale Avenue, Heysham. Fire involved a domestic property. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, positive pressure ventilation and two hose reels to extinguish the fire and assisted six casualties. Crews were detained for three hours.
