At 04:53, four fire engines from Lancaster, Morecambe and Carnforth, along with the aerial ladder platform from Morecambe, attended a fire on Laburnum Grove, Lancaster.
The fire involved a mid-terraced property. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
